Marcel Wieczorek IT-Services finished the work on N-Expert 4.5.3 in April 2021. The main focus here was on improving the usability.
Now the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ) has published a series of videos with click instructions that make it easier to get started with the N-Expert software.
Six short videos show where the program can be downloaded, which inputs are necessary to calculate a fertilizer recommendation and which other possible use cases N-Expert supports.

The computer program “N-Expert – Düngungsberatung und Nährstoffbilanzierung im Freilandgemüsebau” (fertilization advice and nutrient balancing in outdoor vegetable growing) supports farmers and fertilization advisors in determining the fertilization requirements of vegetable crops and in drawing up nutrient balances. The program published by the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ) is available free of charge as a download.
Further information on the N-Expert project is available from the IGZ here.
The video tutorials were implemented as part of the “Nutri@ÖkoGemüse” project. Nutri@ÖkoGemüse is funded by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Bundesprogramm Ökologischer Landbau und andere Formen nachhaltiger Landwirtschaft (BÖLN).
